Rainfall patterns
Rising global temperatures will result in more intense hydrological cycles and winds. Warmer air is able to hold more water vapour. Rainfall, when it does fall, will therefore often become heavier with more likelihood of flooding.
Rainfall patterns are likely to change, bringing longer periods of drought and heavier downpours. Hurricanes and cyclones are not likely to increase in frequency but will increase in intensity.
