What about nuclear?
Renewable energy supplies are variable – being dependant on sun, wind, tides etc. Nuclear power provides a constant source of energy which is not based around fossil fuels. Nuclear power stations thus provide a useful means of supplementing the variability of renewable energy to provide constant energy supplies. But the nuclear issue brings a whole range of other concerns into play and remains a divisive issue for many people.
