There is no plan B, no planet B and no way of reversing climate change. All we can do is slow it down…

Environmental issues

Humankind has changed their local natural environment countless times during the past centuries; rarely for the better. Clearing forested uplands for sheep, draining marshes, intensive agriculture, clearing hedges, the expansion of urban areas – these have all had far reaching impacts on UK wildlife. None of these will have had the same impact as climate change may have.

Environmentalists have been leading the way in raising concerns about climate change for many years. The impact of climate change on this fragile earth is considerable. As seasons and weather patterns change, the ability of many species to adapt is limited. Current predictions are that around a quarter of all species – around 1 million species – are threatened with possible extinction by 2050.
