There is no plan B, no planet B and no way of reversing climate change. All we can do is slow it down…

Useful contacts for recycling

There are lots of small items which are rarely recycled by Councils. Much of the following information comes from the Quakers ‘Walk cheerfully, Step lightly’ excellent booklet.

Clear Plastic Envelopes

Only clear covers made from polythene (this stretches slightly when pulled) can be recycled. Remove any paper labels and sticky tape. Send to:
R R Flexo, 8 Concorde Road, Norwich, NR6 6BW.

Brita cartridges

You can send 6 or more of these in a jiffy bag back to Brita for recycling:
Brita Recycling, Freepost, TK1917, Sunbury on Thames TW16 5BR.

Tetrapaks

Some councils will now recycle these. Otherwise they can be sent back by post to specific recycling plant.

Tetrapacks

These burn really well - so find a friend with a woodburner if you don't have a recycling facility
