Alternative fuels – hydrogen
The potential of hydrogen as a fuel has been known for decades. However there are a number of major problems to overcome both in terms of the huge energy required to change hydrogen gas into a liquid form and in its distribution. As a everyday fuel source this is therefore still in the early days of development with a number of challenges to overcome before any kind of widespread use is likely.
