Our global footprint
When our lifestyles cause more pollution and landfill than the earth can maintain, we are building up real trouble for the future. One way of looking at the physical impact our lifestyles have is to assess the impact or the ‘footprint’ we make on the earth. Our global footprint determines the impact our way of life has in terms of using up the world’s resources – such as fossil fuels, metals, minerals and food products.
