Reducing our personal carbon footprint
Our personal carbon emissions are made up very approximately by one third travel, one third power in our homes and one third on consumption (many simple calculators miss out consumption). Each of these areas will repay careful consideration.
These are sensitive areas of lifestyle and every individual will make different choices. Discussing ways forward with others may be helpful. Sharing personal carbon footprints with people you trust can be useful and sometimes enlightening. Do keep a balance and laugh together over these challenges. Can you meet and chat over progress over a beer or a coffee?
